Doms Death Scene in Gears of War 3, was heartwrenching because we were in a party of four, all playing, laughing Joking fighting having a whale of a time. But when that cutscene came on we all just shut the fuck up, no one said a word for the entire duration of that scene and no one even made a sound until 5 minutes into the next chapter.

Or Simply in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare when Gaz says he'll buy everyone a drink when they get back to London, and he never made it back.
