Why force yourself to converse with plebeians when you can read and do something more productive?

when you read, you want to have silence and a quiet place (hence why libraries are how they are with their rules) being amongst the public while reading is so un-focusing and too many distractions to fully concentrate on the book at hand. Kindles are the most pointless thing of the 21st century.

Sorry that I don't feel the urge to talk to people on public buses. Also I don't think you know what ignorant means.

Give it 10 minutes. The Tiger II will just break down. Sure, they have nice armor, looks, and firepower, but they're horribly un-reliable.

Over-engineered pieces of garbage.

yeah but like the story of the one that broke down and after being hit 400 times by sherman tanks it was able to destroy 30 or 40 of them. theyw ere able to fix the tank and retreat for 20 miles before the Royal tiger finally broke down and was abandoned...i mean sure they break down but 400 hits...it was a portible fort..and it fucked up those shermans

But the comparison is made, much like dreadnoughts on Firepower alone, few machines that spring to mind are flawless, except really the T-34.....

when it worked, however, there was literally no other tank on the field (maybe the SU-100 or IS-2). The only thing the allies could do was airstrike it.

The germans liked to make extremely complex mechanisms. Which worked beautifully, but if one part messed up inside it, it was fucked.

Their main problem was that they just scaled up a mouser up until it could kill a tank. The main gun on the tiger was constantly broken.

True, the russian mechanics in a tank (T-34) were quite the opposite; you even had to shift with a hammer to get to the next gear, extremely hot inside during summer, etc.
But in the end it was a very reliable tank that almost never broke down because of the lack of having complex mechanisms

compare it to a tank that could go fast
and there goes your engine.
