- wasn't Mandela just a glorified terrorist?
Source? He was on the USA's terrorism watchlist due to being categorized as a communist.
He murdered a confirmed 70 people including at least 30 women and children, those are only what has been proven.

Yup. But the boars aren't no fucking angels no matter what bullshit you hear. Not saying the current situation is anything other than rampant genocide, just saying they were not the great people they are often portrayed as. Sort of the way Hitlers murderous ass is portrayed.
Read about Germany during the Great Depression era. Say what you will
and what you're legitimately justified to say
about the evil that Hitler did, but he fixed a broken nation, and made it the greatest nation in the world for a while. An expert on the matter said essentially that what Hitler did to Germany was "an economic miracle that may never be seen again in all of history"
Paraphrase, but more or less spot-on
First, the miracle, even in terms of job creation, is blown out of proportion and did not even achieve its goal of peak military industry efficiency by the time war was declared. Second, it was the achievement mainly of Hjalmar Schacht (Fun Fact: his planning inspired the New Deal and he had the highest IQ of all in the Nurnberg trials 143- he was acquitted because he opposed virtually virtually all the crimes against humanity policies-he cautioned against war, excessive military spending, and wanted to reduce state control of the economy, denounced the August 1935 "unlawful activities" against the Jews, and expresed his repugnance over Kristallnacht), who had to argue against Hitler's policies, especially war.
Hitler gets so much credit for fixing the German economy but it was already in recovery when he gained power and half of what he did would have been illegal or frowned upon in a capitalist economy
Bruhning's tight measures helped the Nazi's two fold in that first of all they caused the chaos that allowed the Nazi's to rise to power and secondly when the effects of the measures came into affect the Nazi's took all the credit.
On top of that the Nazi's economic plan was to basically to increase the money supply through massive deficit spending whilst imposing huge interest rates so there would be little to no borrowing of money.
Then they set up phoney companies that would pay for goods in the form of bonds and then these bonds were then used as currency with the promise that they would be paid back in real money (but probably with the intention they would never have to be)
International trade dropped about 30% as they focused on exporting rather than importing (not one of the bad parts of the plan)
Strict quotas were placed on companies with the threat of forced nationalisation if they failed to comply
Large companies were organised into cartels so that they wouldn't compete
They abolished the trade unions and dropped wages in by 25%.
Basically if they hadn't tried to conquer the Soviet Union Nazi Germany would have been on the brink of collapse by the end of the 4 Year Plan
