You're just wrong about llamas being the only competent animal. Pigs we know are very smart, easy to domesticate and capable of performing work as well as being food. Any of the larger wildebeest species are usable beasts of burden, evidenced by the fact that other parts of the world did and still do, use them. Zebras are fast, strong and capable of bearing a rider.

This leads us, over thousands of years to have tendencies that cause us to try to use those slight advantages to the best of our ability. Our slight advantage was among other things, a propensity to be fearless. That's why in the past we were great explorers, and to this day dangerous sports are far more prevalent among white people. Fearlessness in africa is not an advantage. in fact, it's not an advantage to anywhere to the individual that has it. it means he's far more likely to get himself killed. but his risk to his life, when he is killed, added to our overall knowledge and abilities. we learned where to go and what to do from the fuckers that died trying it before us until we got shit right. Africans didn't do that. They did other things. I'm sure that each tribe has an oratory of some great hero or inventor in their tribes past, but they didn't spread that knowledge so that all may grow from it. That's all. We did different shit. the shit we did lead us to be everywhere. The things africans did, (as well as other tribal cultures [native Americans, central and south americans])didn't.
