Now we know... why Scrat was trying so hard to save that nut for more than 3 sequels.....
He was an ancient botanist, who believed that existence must not be a temporary thing, but a blessing that must remain for all of time itself.
Scrat was well aware that his own mortality was inevitable, and that the same applied for the animals around him, but if he could just save a life.. just one life... knowing the limitations of his knowledge and lack of the ability to create tools, the only thing he could do throughout his life is try to bring that one nut to a safe location, where it would remain untouched for eons and beyond by creatures just eager to digest any organic material.
Well done Scrat... you have achieved a feat that no human in the modern day can achieve. You have successfully preserved a living thing, in natural conditions, in a manner that can allow a future species to revive it successfully.
We can't even do that in our present day;
Walt Disney is in a freezer, with the ice-matter having already burst his brain cells.

yes he is the only one in Sword Art Online with the Dual-Wielding skill because he has the highest reaction time and speed and was therefore granted that skill and so became the hero that would lead the battle against Heathcliff when he decided to forsake the players and be revealed as the last boss. The existence of other Daul-wielders was not addressed in Alfheim in neither the anime or the novel (or at least not that I recall).
