i can understand that. i find that before doing any big mission, doing all possible side quests to help raise my reputation is best

that's what i usually do. before the major missions like loyalty missions with people i know will fight, i look around for side missions like searching planets for anomalies to see if that helps at all... it usually doesn't

When it comes down to it, without saving everyone, siding with the Geth is the paragon choice, I do believe.

i think i sided with the quarians first, then realized that the geth would be a great help, so i fucked up and lost the quarians because the admirals are stubborn sons of bitches

The paragon choices will never lead you astray. stick with them and everything will be fine

that's all i did in mass effect 2. still never had it high enough where i could keep the loyalty of both Jack and Miranda, it really pissed me off
