No worries, just sharing what my relatives would toss at me.
Just consider that the so called "easiest" languages like Spanish or French have lower demand as there are so many people who speak it comparatively well as their foreign language. While they are great when combined with others, by themselves they aren't going to give you great job opportunities unless you have a literary degree or something similar.

What you don't seem to understand is that Leviticus is a rulebook, and Genesis and many other books are essentially historical accounts.
Jesus stated that he came to fulfill the purpose of the law. This is later expanded upon in Galatians when Paul explains that the law had a specific purpose in the time before Jesus (becoming more righteous in the eyes of God by offering sacrifices from sin and removing sinners from your life). We Christians believe that everyone has inherent sin in them, due to the succumbing of Adam and Eve in Genesis. The purpose Jesus had was to die and be resurrected as a truly pure sacrifice that wasn't symbolic like those prior to his coming.
I personally detest the modern use of Leviticus to shame or scare people, because I believe Jesus fulfilled it in its entirety. What I do believe is that Jesus made it specifically clear is that your heartset matters most- looking at a woman in lust is adultery, being angry is murder, etc. Therefore, all are guilty of irreversible amounts of sin, and deserve to die. the beauty of Christianity its that it doesn't pretend that good deeds can cover bad deeds- only the perfect sacrifice of God made into flesh can do that. I still would argue that practicing homosexuality (not being born gay) is a sin, but I admit that I am inherently no less of a sinner for having masturbated to porn or looked at a girl's boobs.
