I don't know anyone who acts like how you've described, I dunno where you live but in UK if you don't smoke bud the people who do are just like 'oh ok no worries'. No one makes fun of people for not smoking weed, also I've been to plenty of classes high and I know many people who have and no one has noticed, it doesn't make you act like an idiot unless you are already an idiot. I also know plenty of people who have gone further than weed, in fact most people I know have at least tried something harder than weed once and they're still the same people, nothing's changed. Of course I know 2 certain people who are complete fuck ups, but they've been irresponsible fuck wits from the start.

Guess I just got stuck with lots of idiots, but then again I live in America, that explains a lot... Unfortunately I've had to deal with the opposite situations of yours, people who come to class high and act like complete imbeciles and smart people whose lives fell into an abyss due to drug use. I mean, I go to school with a lot of kids who are really pressured by their parents to do well, so they end up turning to drugs for comfort and don't know when to stop. I would see why you disagree, seeing as you weren't around anything like my situation. Guess there's always two sides to the story, huh? Well I guess drugs don't fuck you up as much as I've witnessed, and although I still disapprove of them, you've given me a look at the less harsh side of them. So thumb and cute kitteh for you :)

Most of my friends do it, I can't think of many that haven't done it, most do it on a daily basis, it's like they can't see each other without doing it, they can't go out and have a good time without it, like they can't just go round to a friends and play on an xbox or something and having fun without being blazed. it's like their lives revolve around it... Quite scary actually

It really is. I know kids who come to class high and make complete fools of themselves. Weed isn't addictive, yet they find the need to keep smoking it, that will forever baffle me. But I feel better knowing that at least it's not that hard to find someone who can agree with me. :)

Then why do people drink? I presume you also have. There is nothing good about drinking either seeing it from your point of view. And to be honest, alcohol is alot worse than weed.

If you can controll your use of cannabis, i see nothing wrong with using it. It is a very interesting experience, which in my opinion, is worth doing.


Of course you will always have idiots who abuse the drug, or can't controll theirself. But i honestly think that these people would have fucked up another way, if it wasn't with cannabis.

Let's be honest weed can fuck people up but generally it doesn't, there's a difference between use and abuse. But that raises the argument of, should weed be considered a drug? Even so you can use other drugs and be fine as long as you don't abuse, anything will be damaging in excess.

I mean, I wasn't just referring to weed though. While most people do weed, there are still a load of people who do even worse drugs like cocaine. I know weed isn't that bad, it's actually even better than cigarettes, but it is still bad for you in the sense that it can seriously damage your lungs from long term use. Otherwise, it's not like you can overdose from it plus it has some really good advantages. However, I guess I'm just a little annoyed at the fact that many to most people use it just for "getting high" then they end up doing stupid shit and embarrassing themselves in front of others because of the cognitive-affecting side effects. Then they have the nerve to glorify weed as if doing all that is cool. And in some cases weed leads to using even stronger drugs, drugs that turn you into an downward-spiral addict. I'm sorry to say I've witnessed two friends go down this dark path from starting with weed. I had to watch good people turn into drug-addicts because of some people telling them weed was "okay for them to use" and that "nothing bad would happen to them."

But, most of the time, it's just a bit of fun

True, I know when things can be "fun" they can get popular, so I would see why so many people do drugs. But honestly now we're at the point where it's everywhere and people are like BLAZE IT UP OR YOU'RE A FAGGET!!!111!! like drugs are good or something. They're not at all, unless for medicinal uses, otherwise it makes me sad to see how hyped they are these days.
