Music is badass. I play guitar, bass, harmonica and I sing. I'm in a thrash metal band. Gaming is good. As are texting and movies from the 80s 90s and early 2000s. Trolls however, are bad, but troll logic is entertaining. That's all you're getting.

If you need a physical representation of your ideals then they must not be that strong in the first place. That's just pathetic.

That's not the fucking point I'm making and you know it.

It's not that people's ideals rest on the flag, but that the flag is a symbol for those ideals.

And if you think like that you need to get your head out of your ass and stop making up reasons to feel that you're being attacked. Burning a flag as a protest is not the same thing as saying "I support the death of our troops".

What way are you going to stop it? Forcibly grab your parent's arms? Hit them back? I agree that it seems lame, but my mom is 5' 3"; her hitting me doesn't hurt and I'd probably just hurt her more if I tried to stop her. Although it hasn't happened in years, there was usually good reason when she did hit me and I knew it and she did too.

If there was no reason and she was hitting me, I'd recommend just leaving. Blocking and pinning are seen as aggression, will probably make them more angry, and just escalate the issue.
#169 - shredmaster (12/04/2014) [-]
My mother has tried hitting me before and I always blocked it. Sometimes it'd piss her off more and she'd try hitting me again. I would block it again. This would continue until she got exasperated and gave up.
User avatar #49 - raidaltamimi (12/03/2014) [-]
Maybe small hits, but if she did the big ones for no reasons I'd definitely do something, maybe run away from the scene, but hitting back? no
#51 - shredmaster (12/03/2014) [-]
Never said anything about hitting back. Block it, pin her, avoid it, do something. I don't give a shit even if I did deserve it; if I can stop it from landing I'm going to.

Nah mate, it's true.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_desecration

And I mean, technically you can, like for protest and shit, but you will be fined if caught and generally it's a dick move to do.

Admittedly a lot of this feeling comes from One Piece, but it still stands.

you have the right to burn a flag on your property, however once you leave that property, it would seem like it's a different story, as it could be consider offensive, if you do it in public it's considered to be an action is intended to make a political point against a country or its policies, which they are not doing at all, they are just burning flags and not bringing conversation into it at all, all over one man, not the tons that are hurt because of police brutality or any of that, all of this because we wronged one of them, so they have to wrong all of us, great way for them to further segregate themselves...

There's really not a whole hell of a lot worth seeing to be honest, not compared to a lot of other places. And this place is ruled by corporations. you mean dbz and naruto subs are good or bad? didnt really get that.
i just watched naruto. in that case english and german were gruesomly awful.
i think especially anime dubs are bad. i always prefer the japanese version.

if its tv series or films i still prefer german dubs. german voice actors are glorious. fo real.
although, if i watch stuff on youtube, i cant stand german at all.

I prefer a few shows in English, that's what I meant. DBZ is just better with the English voices, with Japanese voices it's impossible take seriously (even more so than normal). I'm not a fan of Naruto so I can't vouch for the dub, but I've heard others say it's pretty decent.
