i dont think theyd do it though, because hes already the goblin from spiderman
#88 - artjunk (11/08/2013) [-]
Yes and Chris Evans plays both The Human Torch and Captain America, which, by the way, are from the same comic universe and have often interacted in the comics... so...
User avatar
#99 - adplum (11/08/2013) [-]
but spiderman and batman are from different comic universes, id think that would make it less possible because they want their own original character
#69 - anon (11/08/2013) [-]
You want a Joker who sounds kooky and fun? Hammil and Troy Barker (younger Joker).

Want a Joker would could plausibly exist from a real, torn-up messed up life? Ledger.

Nightmare fuel/ monster at the foot of your bed? DiMaggio.

This guy? ...Nightmare fuel. >

Also his voice is perfect for the role.
#52 - anon (11/08/2013) [-]
please...this empty headed shit ball already fucked up the Green Goblin. He should never be aloud in front of a camera ever again

The green goblin was shit to begin with.
User avatar
#61 - superafromanxd (11/08/2013) [-]
he didnt ruin the green goblin , moron. if anything he saved it in an otherwise series of shittty movies made by writers and directors who either didnt care or were just shit

how could you replace heath ledger?
User avatar
#22 - captainstinkypinky (11/08/2013) [-]
to be honest, Ledger was that fantastic. I think a lot of people mostly say he was so great because he died.

I accept the incoming red thumbs.

I actually preferred his version to every other version of joker. I liked how he played a more calm sort of crazy rather than a loud maniacal psycho.

The thing is (and I DID like his Joker), that HL's Joker had anarchy and chaos as a final goal, while my preferred Jokers have anarchy and chaos as METHODS, often with no real final goal other than getting the Batman.
User avatar
#100 - captainstinkypinky (11/08/2013) [-]
I do have to agree with you both, for the most part. HL was probably the best live-action joker yet, but I didn't necessarily like how they portrayed him as a character. He just wanted to see some explosions and make batman angry

#102 - Kairyuka (11/09/2013) [-]
I think it's also made weaker by the very weak way they portrayed Batman (Christian Bale didn't make things better)
User avatar
#103 - captainstinkypinky (11/09/2013) [-]
I agree completely. I still don't think they've found someone who can accurately portray the Batman (or Bruce Wayne, for that matter) that we know from the comics.

#104 - Kairyuka (11/09/2013) [-]
Agreed. I wonder if Affleck can contribute something new to the role

#105 - captainstinkypinky (11/09/2013) [-]
I think he'll do a lot better than people expect. Although, with how much everyone seems to hate him, it won't be too hard to pass expectations

It seems that people forget how it went when Heath Ledger was gonna play the Joker :L
User avatar
#107 - captainstinkypinky (11/10/2013) [-]
to be honest, I don't remember that much hate toward him, but I didn't really start watching the movie series until after he had died
User avatar
#108 - Kairyuka (11/10/2013) [-]
People were rioting in the streets. Heath Ledger was almost only known for doing sissy romantic movies and such

heath ledger was good as the dark knight joker. but dafoe could really bring that psychotic crazyness that ledgers joker lacked. don't get me wrong. i liked ledger but i like mark hammil's joker better and i think dafoe could be a good match for that character
#51 - anon (11/08/2013) [-]
I think Ledger captured jokers insanity/genius perfectly. I'm not saying this because he passed, I didn't really see any of his others films except for the brothers grim. As an actor he tied in with the plot that was given so exceptionally, however I believe Dafoe would do the character justice as well. I understand saying Ledger "wasn't fantastic" is just your personal opinion, but there are millions who believed he brought the psycho clowns essence to the screen not because he had passed but because of the pure talent.

#98 - komandantmirkoo (11/08/2013) [-]
as i said. ledger was good as the joker he played. but i like the cackling maniac with bad puns better. and i think dafoe could pull it off. it's two different jokers we're talking about
