some sort of gore mod where creepers and zombies were the exorcist chick; skeletons and spiders the lady from the grudge; and ender man is slender man, would be scary as fuck going though an abandoned mine shaft with screaming sounds.

When I lived in the philippines, I lived in a city called Manila, which if my memory serves me right, is pretty close to where you lived! In germany, I lived in the beautiful city of Moers, right next to the river. It had the most beautiful historic buildings, I'm into steampunk, so living in a town with so much history was wonderful. Then in the US, I lived in Sedona, Arizona, a little desert town with sunsets to die for, and some damn good rock climbing (and javelinas, gotta love them, they'd always steal my pumpkin on halloween). Colombus, Ohio, nice enough place, but I mainly lived there then because it was cheap. Although there was a kickass chinese food place down the road from my house, and I have never found its like in all my days. And lastly, in the port city Baltimore Maryland, one of my personal favorites. Beautiful ships sailed in, it had amazing atmosphere in the inner harbor, and the aquarium there was the best I've ever seen. Currently, I'm back in my hometown, Asnières-sur-Seine in France, trying to decide where I want to go next. I want to live on all the continents for at least a year. I love traveling.
To be honest though, Arizona was my favorite place to live, I loved the climbing and wildlife there, and I never expected a desert to be so beautiful. Everything is crimson at sunset.
Out of curiosity, what brings you to travel so much? Is it a love of new places, or a job? Military? For me its because when I was 8 I was sent to boarding school in the US, and then a transfer program to Germany, and I guess that kickstarted a love of visiting new places.

So anyways, you lived in actual Manila Manila? Cool beans! Yeah, Makati is really close. Just south of Metro Manila.

Looking up Moers, I see you lived near Dusseldorf. I've been in that area. Funny that we both lived in western Germany near the borders, you being in the north and me the south.

Dude! My family visits Sedona all the time! It's seriously gorgeous. Arizona has some of the most spectacular scenery in America.

I've only driven through Columbus a bunch of times, but I have spent a week or two in Baltimore and I really enjoyed it. Very lovely city.

Whoa. And I've been to Asnières-sur-Seine at least 6 times! These coincidences are getting out of hand! Haha. I'm not in the "I have a home" boat. I kinda consider Arizona home (USA in general), but I've moved so much in my life that I don't really know where I belong the most anymore. It's the "Third Culture" syndrome.

My parents' job took us abroad and each time he was given a new occupation by his employers, we were moved to another country. Currently they are working with Asia from Arizona, so no more moving all the time. It is nice to be on American soil once again, though I do miss the travel.

I'll actually be a part of an 11 month teaching program in China in 2015, so I've got that going for me. Where I end up after that is a mystery, but I have a feeling I may want to continue teaching overseas. Probably Europe again.

Highfive for living in the same places! I've lived in USA, France, Germany, and the Philippines. Only difference is portugal.

Visited: Canada, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, England, Scotland, Ireland, Austria, Austrailia, Denmark, Belguim, Czech Republic, Rissua, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Jamacia, Japan, and Thailand.

Don't often meet other world travelers, which was your favorite? Also, how was Vatican city? I was planning on going there next fall.

Whoa... weird coincidence five!

What parts did you live in? In the US I've been in Arizona and Tennessee (born in Oklahoma). In Germany I was in Freudendstadt (1 hour south of Stuttgart and 1 hour east of Strasbourg). I was in Makati City for the Philippines.

Yeah, it's really rare finding people who have been to over 20 countries, let alone living in a few. Especially people who have lived in three continents. Culture shock to the max.

Honestly, Portugal may have been my favorite still. I have never seen a country so filled to the brim with stuff to see for being only the size of Indiana. Italy was pretty sweet too.

The Vatican is pretty amazing. It's incredibly small, but it's got a lot to see and the architecture is gorgeous. Plus, visiting it adds an official country to the list! Yeah, baby!

What about you? Any faves?
