It's organic matter from massive prehistoric swamps. yeah its mostly vegetable matter, don't mean it doesn't include a critter or two just, like bread or chocolate.
#70 - rabidaardvark (02/16/2014) [-]
Coal is from ancient anoxic swamps, OIl and Gas form from deposits of microscopic marine organisms dying in the millions.

over tens of millions of years and being covered up in sediment and decomposing under intense heat and pressure. I thought we were talking about the carboniferous. You're right in correcting that fossil fuels have different sources.
#72 - rabidaardvark (02/16/2014) [-]
I'm not sure, but I think you can get deposits of fossil fuels from other periods, like the Jurassic or Cretaceous, coal is just more common from the Carboniferous because there were more swamps or something.

Hmm. I actually think that's something people debate. There are some who firmly believe petroleum is renewable resource because its from dead plants so all we need to do is wait for the oil fields to fill up again or something.
#74 - rabidaardvark (02/16/2014) [-]
I think that may be true, but its the equivalent of saying a bathtub is filling up if one teaspoon of water is being put in every hour while you take out a bucket-full every minute.

I'd replace "hooker" with "whore".
It's more appropriate for the occasion. Hooker is more silly, and not at all serious when used as an insult.

Well for large speakers, there klipsch, wharfedale, polk, among many others.

For headphones, theres audio-technica, AKG, beyerdynamic, sennheiser, shure, even sony has some better offerings, among many others.

www.headphone.com/learning-center/build-a-graph.php

This site will allow you to view the frequency response of headphones. basically, a flat frequency response is the best frequency response. the site defaults to the most well known for overall quality but by no means the best, the Sennheiser hd 800.

Personally, I have a pair of AKG K240 mkii's as my cans.
