there are no universal rights and wrongs, name some shit you think is wrong, and I probably don't think it is, morals are unique to each and every person, I personally don't have very high moral standards.
if I came off a douchey it's probably because I'm kind of a douche, not trying to be a douche though, just my opinions and shit.

I myself share the view that right and wrong is what we collectively agree on. And my point is not to push theists on the subject of god or not, just to get an understanding of how they believe this all fits together.

There are many definitions of right and wrong. But that is another debate all together.

Tip: to appear less douchey, try and keep from stating something as absolute correct or incorrect. 99% certain is not 100%.

The Bible says that God instills morals into us at birth. I believe that the pre-programming you are referring to is in fact God's way of giving us an innate moral compass. But I also believe that since we are able to decide for ourselves whether or not to act on these morals, then we do have free will from our own perspective.
User avatar #13493 - shitattack (02/28/2013) [-]
So, if I understand you correctly;
The ability to make active choices on moral issues, based on our life experience and genetic coding, is definable as free will?

It makes sense to me.

So by the "innate moral compass" you're referring to, you believe that there is a universal definition of right and wrong that we are all born with?
User avatar #13542 - jokeface (02/28/2013) [-]
Yes.

we have free will from our perspective, that's all that matters.
User avatar #13497 - iHAXnoobs (02/28/2013) [-]
this.
I agree, I'm a materialist, and I believe that there is no free will, but this is really true, as long as we have the illusion of free will, that's all that matters.
User avatar #13494 - shitattack (02/28/2013) [-]
I see that most religions are about faith in the writings, but is it not also important to interpret the writings? And by that, discuss with others (religious or not) how it is best for each own to interpret it?

Uuhm, cool. Can't really use this information though, except for the spiky hair one. I'll try to remember that. 0 DKK < 50 DKK.

Yeah, I've got that much.

I don't know what life situation you are in though, but if I guess correctly, you're going to school still and get money from your parents once in a while? (Just reaching here)

Herro. Don't worry, I'm really not that shy when it comes to pictures of me anymore.

GOD DAMN you are cute! Yes! Yes, you must grow your hair longer! It would fit that face perfectly!

Haha, thanks a lot. My hair's getting quite annoying in the front though since it usually falls over my eyes. I have no clue how to put it like females do. God damn it. :c
User avatar #7 to #6 - shitattack (02/12/2013) [-]
usually they use hairspray to stiffen it up, I just chose to live with it till it got past my eyes. Basically, it's "choose your poison" i guess. might just fix it a bit with a tiny amount of hair-wax at the roots though, just to make it flow away from the eyes and to lift it a bit. :)

Mmh, yeah all that sounds great. If I had access to it that is. :c Anyways, it's been fun. I'm tired and heading to bed now. Good night.

Oh. Guess you could find it at Matas or Cubus maybe? I don't really remember what stores there are in Denmark to be honest..

Matas, sure. I can't get it anyways.
User avatar #13 to #12 - shitattack (02/16/2013) [-]
Now I seriously do not follow. Why can't you get it at Matas?
User avatar #14 to #13 - tylosaurus ONLINE (02/16/2013) [-]
Because I don't have any money nor do I have any places to put that and I don't know what to get.

Can't help you with money, but wax you can put in a shelf (should last a whole day). And, well, the shop attendant would easily help you pick the right product.

Though, I would recommend for the "stiffen the roots"-part, you should go for a strong product, like what they apparently call "fix and shine". Really sticky stuff, and makes your hair look fat if it's all over. (They use it a lot for spiky hair)

If you want to use it more "all-over", you should go for a wax gel. They style, but just gets a bit stiff like hairspray, but you can control it more. Might make your hair a bit glossy, but there is some tricks to it. Also it might not last as well a whole day like the other, but is harder to **** up putting into your hair.

Anyways, one product costs like.. 50 dkr, so its not that expensive, and some lasts for an eternity.
Why do I know so much about this..
