Anyway, the ones with curves like that, dai, hito, inu, etc, don't start the strokes at the same place. Make one then just split the other stroke off from where you want the curve to start. Like in dai, start the second one where the line crosses. That helped me a lot with the appearance of those.
But I don't know why you would even know that kanji, crimson lotus, where do you even use?

I can hardly write it at all but my vocab isn't all too bad, maybe I should start writing in hiragana more, I've got a chart with a lot of them on (only missing about 10 which I can just write down). Fuck the kanji though; I hate it, I can barely do Grade 1 kanji, that's just embarrassing

Look up "Kanji Study"
It splits the kanji into 4 levels of difficulty (not grade level). First has 100, second 300, etc etc.
I've been using it, very good. Has example words, compounds, examples, plus all the readings and stroke order.
You can get 1st level for free but the rest cost 1.99 for all of them (maybe .99).
And some really common kanji are included on 1st level, like 'eki', which is pretty hard but extremely common.
