I, your right, but religion has served a larger purpose than just controlling people. To hate it for its control is to be ignorant of its positive aspects.
In other words dont forget its power, but remember what great things have happend because of it.

I wonder why...
It's one of the reasons I'd like to see limited homesteading allowed, if you see a large tract of land that isn't being used and isn't reserved as a national park (which there are arguably too many anyway) then you can establish a community there. plus there are other unorthodox methods of housing people, I've heard that abandoned missile silo's are huge and could be converted into individual apartments without too absurd a trouble.
Funny thing, its illegal to be homeless in Finland, you will be forced in to a decent home and the goverment pays the rent. Its because no magic barrel fire is going to keep you alive mid-winter.

We have this on a car, it can safelly pull a 1200 kg camper going 100kmh on a highway. That's like 2600 lbs at 60 mph for you with the burgers.
Yea. I don't know if it could tow anything above 2 tonnes, but these are mounted on personal cars, not trucks.
I can't find the exact specs but a 2nd market site has it listed as 2000kg horizontal and 80kg vertical max load, depending on engine config. And that's for a midsize car with a strong engine, on the bigger end I think it could tow more.
Honestly, in mechanical terms there isn't really anything preventing a retracting tow hitch from performing as well as a fixed one. Most manually removable tow hitches are secured with a shearpin just a centimeter (2/5 in) in diameter It may add a little weight and cost, but the comfort makes you feel like a king for those 2 seconds it takes to deploy, no tools needed.

Wheel of Fortune
Home prices just rose simultaneously up here across Canada. It went from possible to no-fucking-way, and I'm making good money.
As a norwegian i feel you. The housing market here is so fucked up by people strategically buying up houses to inflate prices of buying and renting. Here if you are looking for something cheap you must either rent a bed-room sized apartment or find a old house out in the hickies.
