I know a buddy who had a pretty crazy security breach with teamviewer, while using it to help somebody online.

And yes, he was on the other person's computer, not the other way around.

GOD, I hope not. Don't get me wrong it is a cool gun from an "in my opinion" OK Si-Fi anime, But the concept... "Smart-guns" that can ONLY be used with permission from the powers that be. "shudders" I mean all it would take is for a handful of corrupt government officials (practically synonyms in this day and age) to throw the world back to a feudal system like Europe in the Dark Ages. The powers that be and/or anyone who can authorize gun use would become Liege-lords, "Smart-gun" users Knights, Men with useful skills would sell their services becoming Guildsmen/Serfs, and the common people of course Peasants. The only major difference would be the average tech level.

Yep the industrialization was surely very good for a Russia that was still technologically behind WW1 I give him credit before that Russia was nothing more that a 3rd world country .
But the mass purging of his officers cause they were trotskyist or something close to it resulted in a red army not able to follow Tukhachevsky's and other theorists strategies and relied on simple tactics old theory and attrition warfare .
I mean yeah they were under-equipped as fuck but the choice to follow a better strategy theory could have saved some lives of both soldiers and civilians alike .

Ypu are right about the bigest part of what you said .
But the bigest part of the disorganization was Stalin's fault .
Purging a shit ton of his officers for political reasons and not mobilizing well trained or at least tested in combat troops
Stalin did not mobilize the arctic units of the red army which were considered the most crafty in tactics etc. for the finish invasion yet he mobilized many new recruits from countries such as Georgia that were just farmers before untrained and unused to the more harsh finish conditions they easily lost to the finish The big fins are death machines crap is a myth with a correct deployment Finland would be over in 3 weeks max and the above is just an example of his fuckery .

I mean, Stalin's industrialization plan is a big part of their ability to come around in the war.

You're right, he fucked up a lot of logistics, but after WW1 the Russians were so far behind the rest of Europe as far as technology and organization goes. At the start of WW2, the standard equipment for the Red Army had barely changed, and since Stalin thought that the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact would last longer, they didn't get the chance to prepare and modernize better.

Stalin's poor leadership was an issue, but the under-equipped Soviet men and women weren't given much of a chance anyways.

Actually order 227 (Not one step back) did result int he mass execution of Russian soldiers who fell back or failed to show suicidal resolve in battle.

You're right, the T-34 was the right tool for the time but had some serious oversights that lended it to be a double-edged sword: for example the escape hatches. Because of its low profile and sloped armor the escape hatches were placed in such a way that half of the crew couldn't bail out and would thusly perish -- not that loss of life was a concern, they needed armor on the field and they did exactly that.

And I'm not taking away from from the Soviets because they were communist, I'm simply stating that they were only able to hold the line because their troops and civilians were essentially mass meat shields to slow the German advance.
