To add to Dorf's info, the troopers in the OT were primarily either volunteers or clones from a different source as the clones that fought in the Clone Wars, and the Jango stock clones only made up Vader's personal 501st. In the TFA continuity, the First Order gets their troopers by kidnapping them at a young age and brainwashing them as they grow up.

didn't mean to act like an asshole, it just feels like this questions gets asked 6 times in every sw content. but yeah, thanks to lucas fucking his own trilogy in the ass, the cloning program is generally accepted to have ended between the trilogies, meaning that the stormtroopers are a mix of clones and drafted/volunteered soldiers
