My War 3/4 Danish Afghanistan Documentary (English Subtitles) danish documentary about our involvement in Afghanistan.
We worked with Latvian, British and American soldiers. Only in the FOBs were we danish soldiers only, on patrol.
We had a pretty fierce reputation from the other countries. The danes were known to be pretty brutal in firefights. The american marines and british marine commandos were pretty good too though.

Hell yeah, Marines are hard as shit. I wanted to sign up with them, but with the wars winding down, I figured officers jobs would be more secure in the Army. I actually watched that documentary when you posted it before (I was a lurker for a few years), and it's pretty good. We have one professionally produced one (you know, as opposed to the "reporter embedded with a unit" style) called "Restrepo" that's absolutely amazing, but I guess you don't really need to watch documentaries if you've been over there. I've always heard the Royal Marines, and British troops in general, were really professional. That's why I wanted to talk to you, because I never would've learned about Danes if I hadn't asked you; there just not numerous enough to gain a reputation in the U.S. civilian population.

The only times I've visited farms has been execution of goats for a friend of mine, and I'm a doable skinner. First time I skinned a goat, I managed to pop the belly. The scent was horrible, true, but I've yet to experience anything as bad as a grease separator. And I occasionally work down in sewers :/

Never experienced a chicken's scents, tho my dad has some.ducks that also produce hell. Not sure if those are comparable or not.

Chickens suck in large groups. Think of it as a ton of birds, constantly shitting in small confined areas. Actually, that's an exact description. You're right about dead animals, though they're not as awful. I shot a wild boar straight through the heart while hunting; by the time we cut it open, it had been pumping blood into its chest cavity for a while. I just realized that my last comments may make me seen like I grew up in the country, but I'm actually from Boston.

No, the Red Wedding was ASOS. Look at the wiki; Robb appears in a Storm of Swords, and Catelyn is a POV character. That doesn't happen if their both dead. AFFC is the one that's often criticized for nothing happening.

I don't agree. They have other products besides an operating system, and I actually like Windows 10, as do many people. That's why it's installed in 120 million devices as of early October. I'm just saying you shouldn't try and say one of the largest companies in the world is doomed because of a reactionary response to two perceived "bad" products.

Helmand? Bad area to be stationed in; highest population of any province in Afghan, and responsible for 80% of the world's heroin production. I love hearing stories from allied countries, so if you've got any funny/cool/harrowing ones you don't mind sharing, I'd love to hear them. Did you work directly with other NATO troops? You probably worked with the British if you were with them. What were your impressions of troops from different countries if you did work with them?

Pfft, that oil smells like heaven after cleansing up a grease separator in a restaurant. Complaining at scent is the last thing I'll do after experiencing that odor.

Not the worst thing I've ever smelled either. I spent much of my childhood visiting a farm, and chickens produce smells that mortal man wasn't meant to experience. So much worse than cows, goats, or pigs.
