I actually had to manually enter this text color because I couldn't access the slider for some reason, so I needed to type in a number that I couldn't see. It came out way darker than I wanted it to.

I would think shoddy building code. They tend to bring in western architects, but IDK who does shit like wiring, and fire suppression etc. Haven't really read up on the story, but curtains catching on fire sounds like they were hanging over some outlets.

Also, it isn't rare that people buy materials worse (cheaper) than those indicated by the engineers on the project. I watched some show about a bridge that collapsed in the U.S. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I-35W_Mississippi_River_bridge where the builders used thinner metal than called for.
