For what it's worth, I think it's disgusting that this kid was pulled out of school in handcuffs - but I don't think it's racist, and in fact I think it's dangerous to go throwing those kind of assumptions (and that's what they are, purely speculation at this point). America is going through a pretty horrendous patch of racial tension at the moment - and when something like this happens, that's happening to kids all over, it's turned into a race issue and it pits people against each other. but, I've got firsthand experience with loading tracer rounds into magazines and firing them. as far as the whole being more accurate than sand people, I agree. the weapons europeans/americans use generally are better at accuracy than other weapon systems. on the flip side, they are less reliable in the long run, requiring way more upkeep to keep from jamming.
