So I bought the aperture tshirt online, as well as the long fall socks from the Valve store. The light grey colour round my waist was actually cheap leggings I cut the legs off from to make them into shorts because it was so damn warm in that costume, the blue is a vest top, and the orange is actually a cheap convict fancy dress outfit I got from amazon that I chopped and changed slightly so I could tie it round my waist and it looked okay will add white bandages around wrists which Chell has and dark orange patches to the knees and i'll probably take the orange leg bits in slightly cause atm they're slightly too baggy

its the offspring of edm which was originally played in detroit and soon took off in american cultural society and because we are leading the world in the entertainment industry it spread to europe where it further evolved into what you know today as french house
so you just proven my point you look at your style of music and say it had no influence from american culture when the very basis of it comes from american culture

Electronic music as a whole was mostly a French invention. It still shows somewhat,with daft punk and justice and all that,but it spread pretty darn quickly.

Just wanted to add my own rusty 2 cents to it,since daft punk may not be a genre,but there's a point to electronically being able to be rooted back to France.

Ah, but my point isn't that American culture sin't pervasive. It is, undoubtably. America is 100% the greatest cultural force in the world. It still doesn't mean "most" culture comes from there. Most exported, definitely. That still doesn't mean that countries with their own cultures are "mostly" Americanised. We are aware of, and even love, your culture. You don't have a clue about ours. Just because you're not aware of our culture doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Just that you're ignorant.

you do realize the fact is we absorb cultures into our own
like for instance what you think of as american food came from other cultures was then mixed with other cultures food and became something new and exciting
we are aware of other cultures and because of this we are able to assimilate them into our own
