stonedhamster (10/28/2015) [-] There's at least 3x level 3 party members. A Young Adult or Adult dragon would, depending on how many are in the party, be a fitting challenge.

| But can't all that be written on the envelope and not the actual letter? #13 -
senseiweasel (10/23/2015) [-] Well yeah, you could also write them on the back in crayon. However, standard form for a company letter is addressee at the top left (so it shows through the window of standard DL size window envelopes), letter reference underneath that (this is the reference code that you use when replying to the letter, which links to the letter in the company's archives) return address & company letterhead at the top right, company registration at the bottom of the letter (legal requirement in the UK, not sure in the US) Source: I'm Company Secretary (member of the board responsible for ensuring company meets all laws & regulations) for a mid-sized limited company, and in 10 years at this job I've seen only a handful of companies that don't format their letters this way, most of them one-man operations. For reference I've found this picture of a letter someone claims to have received from Cadbury's, can't say for sure whether it's legit - but this looks far more like a real corporate letter *Legal requirement in the UK for Private Limited Companies. anon (10/23/2015) [-] A gig is not 1000MB. It's retained in electronics as the power of 2, which processors follow. 1000 is not a power of 2. A GB is 1024 Megabytes, so what he said is right because he's still under 1024 Megabytes. "I have 999 Megabytes, we still haven't got a GIG," he's missing 25 MB's for a GB isn't he? So he's 25 MB short off a GB (Still haven't gotten a Gig.) You tried to use logic in an illogical way. But since we're having fun here, let's go through the scale of Bits which make up the binary system: 1 Bit is an electronic signal indicating whether a device is active of inactive, I/O so the value equals two. Computers use bits to store data numbers because it's easier to decipher the meaning of a value which can be compounded into data. Their data streams as follows: 11001001000001001010010111111111111010001000010000001010101000 But let's go back to bits and their values shall we? 8 Bits make a Byte 1024 Bytes = 1 KB 1024 KB = 1 MB 1024 MB = 1 GB 1024 GB = 1 TB 1024 TB = 1 PB (Petabyte, not peanut butter and jelly ) So yeah, all that to say that he's 25 MB off a Gig, still haven't gotten a Gig *Badum tssssss* Xeric got it. #11 -
anon (10/23/2015) [-] P.S: Not sure if you're a fan of computer programming, but learning Assembly is wonderful, you learn so much you thought you already knew. And no, I'm not talking about NASM, MASM, or any other derived crap. #10 -
anon (10/23/2015) [-] I'm not using logic illogically (teehee). It's easy to understand they're implying they are one short of a gig, even though it is emotionless text. It's exactly like the joke "I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one". And well, I actually left my phone on this page, so I doubt I'll ever see a response, if any. So enjoy the rest of your day. signed char is 1 byte, 8 bits. signed short is 2 bytes, 16 bits. signed int is 4 bytes, 32 bits. pointer is 4 bytes, 32 bits. floating decimal is 4 bytes, 32 bits. floating double is 8 bytes, 64 bits. (Under 32 bit system, still can vary)
