The Umayyad Caliphate on the other hand, did in fact reach across North Africa and into Spain, however it never fully took Turkey because a tiny country called the Byzantine Empire stopped it, meaning it never tried to take Romania. These two empires were separated by 900 years, and were entirely distinct from one another. Islam didn't even exist during the time of the Persian Empire. Also Vlad the Impaler was not born until 1431, long after any any of these empires. And any attempt to reason with him lead to the same cycle of "I dont want to be mean" -> "I don't want to hurt him" -> "I don't want anyone to confront him in my place" -> I don't want to be mean" and so on.
