Mexico City's most infamous place is called Tepito. It is also considered like Mordor (or isengard)and is full of orcs (chakas i.e. "ghetto" people with their own subculture that is usually violent).

sorry, bro, I swear I'm not making ths up yesterday a friend got us together to let us know that a friend of mine who had been kidnapped was found dead and we well dealt with that

Well, she was kidnapped for money about 3 months ago. Her family didn't pay the full ransom but payed 6 million pesos. after they got the money they executed her. At least they were caught but that doesn't return Jess back to us. her name was Jessica.

The people who did this to her were apprehended. But it was too late. At least it wont happen to another person through their hands, but, they don't really prevent it and I haven't heard of an actual liberation of someone. I guess it has happened.

Well, mostly it's just "safer" but I guess there are safe parts.

I mean... I've only been mugged once. I haven't had altercations with people and when I walk through certain parts of the city than i know and depending on the hour, like, if you are in the mall at 3pm, of course you feel safe. I feel relatively safe walking at 3:00 am when there's no one on the street, back to my place from a party or a friend's house or something
