I believe he is referring to the non-removable ones. Even in the US they are unable to remove these. Once a week is all the shortest amount of time you should bathe them as well, as doing it more often will cause the skin to become dry and they will release more oils to make up for it. I'd recommend a waterless shampoo if yours tend to be stinkier, because with every person/animal each and ever one is different, and this includes the scent as well.

Personally I got lucky and my 3 ferrets oddly smell like a weak lipton iced tea mix, I noticed this as soon I got them and it hasn't changed thankfully.

um sorry mate but they have scent glands that give off a very foul odor you are probably use to it as i became after my first ferret but to non owners it fucking stinks also yes some can be removed but not all i had the removable ones taken and my little Pepper still stank quite bad actually (regular baths do help)
User avatar #44 - seleniyxoxo (05/29/2013) [-]
my bad, domesticated ferrets in the us have the scent glands removed when they are neutered/spayed so I wasn't thinking about other parts of the world. that's why i compared it to a dog, because without the scent gland it doesn't stink bad.

#37 - seleniyxoxo (05/29/2013) [-]
I try, but it's not as exciting to watch/ follow the games as it is in person. And since my local team lost I haven't been to a game in a while. Honestly, it's not the same on tv. I really enjoy the atmosphere of the game, the honest pride and excitement of the fans, and the slight chill the ice gives off in the arena. Even in the 300s it still gives chills (too poor to afford good seats).

that is amazing, truly admirable! i always found what i was doing quite pointless (pursuing a professional hockey career) and have deep respect for anyone studying medicine of any kind or anything that benfits society, so seriously kudos.

Thanks ^-^. Actually I love hockey, it's the only sport I can actually watch and get in to. Plus I am incredibly awful and skates, so I'm doubly impressed at the skill it takes to do that, while trying to score, fight off the opposing team, all while fans and cheering/booing. I get nervous cleaning the cages at the zoo where I intern while people are watching me.

thanks man. yeah the town i live in now only has about 15,000 residents, so it would be damn hard to find one or take a 2 hour bus trip to the nearest "large" town, but the new place i'll be moving to is about 40,000 so it might be easier
