What lambda said the information for the next button and next page is stored on the content that was "deleted" and making the page that shows that it was deleted would require almost a complete rewrite of the entire page just to add that and store the info for the next content. a just like he said a random button shouldn't be much of a problem.

I think that the place in the queue is a property of the content. If the content doesn't exist, there's no way to tell where you were to keep going. A random button would be possible, though.
