Well, One thing you must know is that Malice is but a child. He is the son of theria original guardian of the heavens. When she tried to bless ponies with a gift that would let them live forever, Malice, being the bored little trouble maker he was, tinkered with it to give us vampires. As punishment, Theria made him take on a form as cruel and disgusting as what he had done, until he re-payed his debt to those he had inadvertently cursed. The key to beating him is Theria lay down a strict set of rules that he had to follow on earth. If he breaks any rules, then he can be bound to the will of any mortal.

He cannot enter a mortal dwelling without permission. He cannot leave a favor from a mortal unrepaid. He cannot interfere with true love. He cannot take a mortals belongings without asking. He must treat mortals with courtesy. He may not directly harm any mortal. If asked by name, he must help any mortal in jeopardy. He cannot harm keepers in any way. He must obey keepers. I think that's everything. Will that be all dearie?
