I'm not blaming anybody right now for anything that happened in the past, I was telling you that you were wrong about them fighting back and winning.

Show me where I placed blame in my statement and I will take back pleb, until then it remains.

I'm not wrong, I didn't say that what the settlers did was right, though. " would they have been fighting back before the rape of their women". Yes they did fight back, of course. Not effectively at all, obviously, but they didn't just sit back and let it happen to them. This isn't the only time that has happened and not the only people it has happened to. As I said, different time. About you calling me a lower caste Roman empire citizen, I don't care.

The damage was done for longer than the total duration of the battles. It was done when they were put on reservations, forced to abandon their beliefs and own religious practices, and the constant ridicule of being a "Savage". Though I do believe that there being a winner and a loser is essential in anything and the victor takes the spoils, there is no need to add insult to injury. Even many of other cultures from 0-1100 continue on with their lives and tolerated how they were.

I'm a 20 year old Native American college student, studying civil engineering, paying for college on my own, no assistance other than the FAFSA. Although I don't allow my heritage and roots limit my own potential and drive. It's still hard trying to live through the stereotypes of going to school for free, getting free money, because not all tribes do. But I'm doing my best as a person to overturn the stereotype and end the dependence and blame on the government.

Here's the second half of my response to the other guy that replied:
Also, I am not american, I live in a country that was under slavery to the turks until 1878 so the things you described happened to my people even after the native american slaughters(the rapes, people forcibly converted to islam, slaughtering whole towns when they rebel). I don't blame the modern day turks though, because they did nothing of the sort. As I said different time, different world.
I don't know anything about how much native americans actually get from the governments as funds,as I said, I am not an american, the focus of my comment wasn't on that. I think that you can live without government support though, and it looks like you share my opinion.

>At the end of the day, they did fight back and lost.

Now, do tell, would they have been fighting back before the rape of their women to destroy blood lines, or would that have been after any and all cultural ties were buried to shit by the Ruling governing bodies?

Go read a fucking book, pleb.
#123 - scorze (11/22/2014) [-]
Oh, really? Are those things that were done exclusively to native americans? Are they? They are not. If eveyone started blaming people for stuff that happened in the past, do you know what will happen you fucking "pleb". Get your head out of your ass.

"The monument of the japanian folklore hero Momotaro is located at the Tsar Simeonovata garden. It was build as a symbol of the brotherhood relations between Plovdiv and Okayama. " That's the description beneath the statue translated in english.

He's actually doing everything right for Bicep Pulldowns. The problem is that he's TOO strong and the stack weighs more than him, causing the machine to move a lot
#113 - Womens Study Major (10/23/2014) [-]
If your arse leaves the seat, you're doing it wrong
You're meant to use your muscle strength to pull down, not your body weight
User avatar #114 - pwnagraphy (10/23/2014) [-]
He is going up a bit much, but for all we know that stack weighs 320. Unless you have freakishly long arms you aren't going to be able to reach the bar when it's resting without leaving your seat.
