Meh, I like BF3 more. BC2 was awesome, though, don't get me wrong. I have 500+ hours on BC2.

BF3 really let me down. Its just not quite what I expected it to be. I think it is doomed to be one of my "rainy day games".

i miss the days when snipers didn't have headlights attached to their scope and when you could be anywhere on the map except from the 3 options you have now

it gets better apperently sunlight reflects inside or during the night not to mention the horror the metro map is for me. i used to get a 300m+ headshots now its around 100m it really sucks

The thing about spotting enemies at long range (by spotting, I'm not referring to the spotting feature), is that BF3 makes it rely on the light glare from scopes or laser sights, rather than actually SEEING the enemy guy. Not to mention all the added visual effects in BF3 (the motion blur, depth of field, post processing, sun flares, insane light bloom, and so on) make it so much harder to see enemies at long distances. That's partially why gameplay > graphics, and why I like BC2 over BF3. When I started playing BC2, I pretty much only liked it because of how fun the long range sniping was, but it's ruined in BF3.
