Women are already treated better than men in nearly every sense of the word, so I'd say that anyone claiming to fight for equal rights for women is going too far when it is impossible to name a right that men have that women don't, but it is easy to name many, many rights that women have that men don't.

What makes you think that these extremists are in the minority? Feminism's core belief is that men hold all the power and they use that power to treat women like shit, and they always have since the dawn of time. In order to accept that, you have to be pretty damn blind to reality, and if you do accept that, it's not exactly going to lead to anything positive. I think it's pretty interesting to note that any feminist who shows any amount of respect for men instead of demonizing them is immediate set upon by a lynch mob of her fellow feminists, but there always seems to be virtually no resistance or condemnation of the supposed extremists. How is it that the minority is able to frequently organize huge violent protests and this often promised majority of reasonable ones seems to be nowhere to be found?

I used to think that too, but minority movements don't behave like this. They shout and scream, but they don't get traction. People are believing their rhetoric because we refuse to stamp it out rather than just call it meaningless babble from a minority group. These people will win if we don't stop them.
