schneidend (06/15/2015) [-] I was defending it. It made perfect sense for the character to do it. Stannis is a guy who sees things through to the end. That's why he attacked Winterfell anyway, even though he had a very marginal chance of succeeding. This is a guy who had his own brother assassinated to achieve his ends, how are you bitching about sacrificing his daughter to achieve victory? It's entirely in-character.
