While there's a big chance that that may be the truth, I really think it's a bad investment, especially when it comes to pharmaceutical companies. You do realize that any company that can find a cure for a major cancer will receive millions, if not BILLIONS of dollars for its discovery. Patenting such a cure will most certainly make the company the most successful of the 21st century.

But there is no one cure for cancer, there are so many different types that all have different receptors that drugs would need to identify to target the cancer cells. Even if drugs for a small number of cancers existed there is then the problem of identifying which type of cancer a patient has. The market currently could not allow a single discovery to earn a company a monopoly.

You need to reread my comment. I said IF any company could find a cure for cancer, they would be the most successful company on Earth. You're pointing out details that are irrelevant. Obviously, there is no one cure for cancer. There are over 200 different cancers that are dwelling within millions of different people. But I'm referring to cures for big cancers such as lung cancer, blood cancers such as leukemia, bone cancer, skin cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, etc. Cancers that affect millions of people are the biggest targets for big corporations.


Microsoft, Exxon, Apple, Samsung, and Walmart all have monopolies in their industry. In fact, what Exxon did in order to not be charged with being a monopoly was being split into many different companies.

it takes a while to learn haha, but once you start understanding it, the software itself becomes easier. Here, the competitions start out at school level, then district, then city and afterwards you're competing with only 5 other people at the national level. That's what I meant when I said faze, the national one.
Yes, and no, it's a show on youtube by two english teachers that moved and now live in Korea and weekly review a kpop song as well as some more things, like interviews and such. They're brilliant!

In general, at just about anything from Chemistry and Physics to Art and English. I'm not really all that smart, but I lived a bit of my life in England and have the accent and British thinking and that helps, so much.

I just came back from the center and I'm fairly sure I'll pass this time around, all it takes is a 100% score, that paired up with my original 96 makes a total amount of 98, which hopefully means I'll pass onto national :)
