I have my pc since 2011 and it could run that with no problem, when I bought it was a great computer but it was not even near top of the line.

Crysis was released in 2008, if got a new in 2011 that would be the same as a top of the line in 2008 pretty much.

One of the first games I got was Crysis 2 and I could run it maxed with about 50 to 55 fps.

Yeah and that dont suprise me really, was that it's Crysis 1 that's used in the example or what to call it in the content.
I bought a top of the line laptops in early 2012 and it handled Skyrim on highest.

Yeah I got one early 2012 not top of the line, but a pretty damn good one and a real deal thanks to the company I was working for, and it could handle Fallout NV wiht no problem on highest, tho the battery never worked and eventually I took it to the warranty place (should have paid for it myself and take it to my trusted tech) and I think they stole something and I couldn't prove it but ever since it turns off when I ask too much off it.
Tho for real gaming laptops are not recomended.

This is the one I got ^
Still holds out well ^^
The only real thing I can say that it dont have compared to pc's is that I cannot switch out and upgrade it's components, but that that I just say "it's strong enough as it's and I can bring it anywhere I want in a simple backpack"

Yeah portability rocks, seems like a good computer, it clearly can handle skyrim without mods and you must run it at least at 40 or 45 fps.
But besides the whole switching hardware I game for hours straight and a laptop can't handle more then 5 or 6 hours without overheating (I had the alluminum tray and everything) idk I guess I just like the fact that I can minimize any game and go on facebook and watch a movie without the computer complaining about it.

It handles skyrim with about 100+ mods and no lagging, although after heavy usage it since I got it, it started getting really warm and overworked so I had to do a reset on it, which was easy cause a samsung programme saved how it was when I installed it the first time, and after that not getting warm and it's like when I bought it, awesome ^^

And no, I can play for 12+ hours now b4 it starts to get warm enough to make me think I should let it cool down during a movie instead ^^

Wow that's great actually and you have it since 2 years? good purchase.
User avatar #178 - stifflimb (11/10/2014) [-]
Yeah, think I passed the 2 years mark a month or so ago!
I'm big time satisfied with it, when you gonna use something every day it's better to spend a little extra on it ^^

Nowi + Donny

Nah + MC

Congrats, Godlike Nah, AND Godlike Manakete!Morgan. AND you don't have to feel like a pedophile!

The MC!Nah - Donnel!Nah debate is as old as time itself. Pairing Donnel and Nowi and Nah with the MC produces a very OP powerful Nah and a laughably broken reality warper gamebreaker Morgan, while MC + Nowi produces two really, really OP units. So the former is the best tactic if you want to minmax and the latter is the best if you want to have a bigger army.

Both are very valid strategies and since yours doesn't involve laying 8yo it's inherently superior, so I concede defeat this time.
