It was probably luck. Luck determines if the teachers will be shit or not. The system determines if what they teach is shit or not. In my case, both seem to be pretty bad. I still remember in the 12th (last) grade we had a subject which was basically "shit you'll need to know in life" like how to deal with taxes, why health insurance is actually important, how to manage your money and so on. Half the shit we were told ended up being flat out wrong, because it was outdated as fuck and the other half was bullshit, because the teacher had no idea how money works. She calculated that it would cost us a minimum of 1600 a month to barely survive, out of which 1000 was just food. I'm a fat fuck and I make the month with less than 300 and that's counting taxes, bills and everything. That woman knew about as much about finances as I do about quantum physics.

Yeah that sounds pretty shit. The only subject we have that teaches us about taxes and 'how to live' etc. is home ec, but it's optional and nobody does it cause they think it's just all about food. coincidentally my favourite subject, planning on being a teacher in it, and Irish
