Yep. It's a great system. We have it here in Germany right now, a social(ist) democracy, and our economy isn't hurt by it, it thrives on it! More socialism means happier and healthier workers, which leads to a stronger workforce and to a better economy,.

I think he's referring to Yugoslavia under Tito's ruling so it's the opposite. He was pretty awesome and he successfully prevented the rise of chauvinism, and with it, ethnic conflict for about 40 years, that's pretty commendable.
