Well we didn't know how much we needed to buy, so we bought enough that we thought would suffice us. So we bought a fuckton chinese food friday at like, 6 and we finished off the last of it, i think, at like quarter to 1 Monday morning.

Yeah DICE go all out scripting trailers for their games, especially recently. I think EA forces it though, since Hardline had it too when DICE didn't make Hardline. Watch any gameplay trailer and you'll always see that the cameraman doesn't get shot at in groups, or enemies don't react to his presence.

You should think of it that way. Think of it as a cinematic cut that can even be recreated in game and look the same. It shows the viewer what the game looks like.
Not 100% necessary, but it's nice for people who get a hard on from seeing good graphics.

There's where prerendered and actual time come into play.

Prerendered games look infinitely better than actual gameplay. This is basically blatantly lying to the audience and that's why it's frowned upon.

Well, if you actually take some time to immerse yourself, you have tons of these small moments in gaming, but your not actually focused on that. just killing and owning and being cautious.

I got a cool example of that, I remember it from battlefield 4.
I was in a building that was starting to collapse and slid over a table and jumped out a hole in the building and parachuted out. Most cinematic non-scripted thing I've ever done in a game.
