 It's not that I reject it - I give everyone a fair chance. I feel like people shouldn't be judged based on their ethnicity or culture - but rather based on their actions. (Kind of an important speech, actually, google Martin Luther King sometime). My main "argument" to this person I spoke to was "One focal point of the movement seems to be harassment, of which there is plenty on both sides (GamerGate related); don't you think that your open mockery of ProGG people could be percieved as bullying"? All that was responded was: "This is a place to mock sealions/gators, it's hilarious to watch grown as men make fools of themselves" ;; Some people are pretty crazy. Too all those looking at this, sorry if it's a bit ranty - I just wanted to share my opinion. #154 -

What does bother me is the fuckers who use their religion, race, gender, or sexual orientation as a reason to hate people who are different from them. Ergo, I am very much an athiest (though I wish that valhalla was real, sounds like my kind of heaven) and make shitty jokes about everyone. IE I will make gay jokes around my best friend (who is in a homosexual relationship), ditto for nigger jokes around a buddy who is black, and ditto for any other shitty joke that is made in the lame attempt to cheer up a friend. At minimum they usually laugh at how bad I am at jokes (seriously, I'm terrible. I suck at timing them right). | ||
