Please excuse my over generalizations. I'm a little angry with you, if you can understand, I'm trying to make thoughtful insults that hit close to home, but I'm doing the things that I accused you of.

You should really think about becoming more understanding though. Such stubborn standards could drive away your partner who may eventually tire of constantly trying to live up to your expectations. Do you love her? Or do you love what you want her to be? If you love her, you'll be fine. If you love what you want her to be, you won't be fine. Eventually you may end up not living up to your own standards, and then where will you be? If that happens, either you'll be forced to become a more understanding, less judgmental person, or you might try to commit suicide because you won't like where you've ended up.

I guess I can live with you hating me. Hate from people like you just distances me from said people, and maybe that's for the best. I'm in high school, people know I watch anime, nobody gives me disapproving looks or words. I have friends, I am known by more people than I know, meaning I am popular. People always say, "Hi Ryder," to me in the hall, I say hi back, but I have no idea who they are. I have a diverse group of friends, I defy these lines you think I have. I'm accepted because I'm likable and because not all people are as stupid as you. I'm free, you're confined, it's as simple as that. I can do everything you can do while still enjoying myself. One day you'll wish you realized that earlier.

As for watching anime, I did something I wanted to do when I had nothing else to do. That's not wasting my time, that's putting it to good use.

Everyone gets judged. Some people judge more than others, and those are the people who don't understand that people are very complex things, and little can be determined by their interests or their skin color or the way they dress. People that can't consider the complexity of other people are lacking in intelligence. Empathy is a trait that correlates with intellect.

That overly judgmental side of you will probably vanish when you collapse in your later years wondering where the time has gone. You'll start doing things you never thought you would, and you'll become by your standards worse than the people you already hate. Your life is empty, you're going to realize it when you're mature enough and out of college.

And I have plenty of friends. Why, just last summer, I spent some of my time watching anime. I remember that while I was interested in a particular show, I would wake up in the morning, shower, get dressed, make breakfast, and watch an episode or to of the aforementioned anime while I ate. I'm still in highschool, so I didn't have anything else to do in the summer. After I watched the amount of episodes I wanted, I would contact a friend, and I would hang out with them. Sometimes we would even go to a party in the evening.

Living your life and doing the things you want to do, and understanding what people are is more complicated than what they are interested in is living a very satisfying life. Judging people based on their interests simply because you don't like those interests, and prohibiting yourself from doing things because you think you can't is living a hollow, superficial, unsatisfying life. In fact, I don't think anyone would say that is living at all.

Actually, Apple had a campaign to seperate Macs from the term PC. They also are very closed source (unlike a pc) and usually are designed to be very mobile and easy to set up (unlike a pc). Infact, you can't even change the OS, unlike a PC.

Okay, let me correct myself: It is an unholy, frustrating experience to change the OS on a Mac to even a different version of OS X, and changing it to anything not OS X could potentially destroy your entire system. Literally no other operating system relies on specific parts of the hardware to work in that way, nor do they come with hardware designed to obliterate any other OS installed.

It takes about 2 minutes to change the OS from Windows to Linux.

Yes, sometimes changing to a newer version of Mac OS X occurs issues, but rarely.
And it's not true that it could "potentially" destroy your entire system.
Smart people would partition the drive, and install it as a secondary (or a primary, with a windows OS being the main one), and it pertains two separate OS's.
