cool fact all, all materials have this property, even iron bars. It just happens very quickly due to its structure
#120 - anonymous poster (12/08/2013) [-]
But you can't make an iron bar do anything near that - the expansion can't extend 0,3% (this is when plastic flow occurs).

This gif is part of a video. In it they explain it as the flow of "information". When the bottom is stable, and you let go of the top, it takes a little bit of time for it to reach the bottom. The fact that the top has started falling has not propagated to the bottom yet, so as far as it "knows", it's still being held.

also what is her go to element? Fire. She is mean to be a hot head. People are just little twats who want aang back. Who did cause the last stronghold against the fire nation to fall. Killed untold amounts of people, see northern water tribe battle. Had the failed 1st invasion. The only see the end. Not the start. If korra's story ends nicely all will remember that. not teenage whiney girl.

Dude, calm yourself. Aang was good, and Korra is looking to take a better path. Away from the whole "Let's actively cause war and go to the mafia!". Now she seems to have grown up a little and even though she is still hot headed understands that she has a responsibility to think things through (a little).
Aang was never the cause of war and how many he killed is debatable as he wasn't "him" at that point, but more like the crib of the hyper-agressive entity that rules the oceans.
And put the Korra of one episode ago in Aangs shoes and I'm not so certain that the war would have been better.
All I'm saying is that it took a lot of growing up for Aang and Korra comes from a different way of thinking entirely. As of now (actually always) I'm very interested to see what road she takes, but if I see the return of the Korra from two/three episodes ago... well Wan died for nothing is all I got to say.

The whole point is everyone is over analyzing the mistakes of the now. They all reference how Aang saved the world. Without mentioning all the bumps along the way. Shes making mistakes cause she is a different person. Don't reap a verdict with only half the evidence.
