Alright, first remove Necroid and put that new Nova Master. Since the main deck is 43, get rid of both Captain and Skyscraper, as well as Heat and 1 Wildheart (since you got rid of Necroid)). Then it should be 39. Add the second E- Emergency Call. These should make the deck more consistent.

best advice for an E-hero deck: don't do it.

Old cards might not be able to compete with today's meta, but they're some people's childhood cards. They bring them joy when they win using them, as opposed to today's meta which just reassures you that they're worth their cost.

No card is junk. Even the classic Elementals can make use of the newer Fusions and the Masked HEROs.

Yeah those are pretty OP but I like my E-heros.

Sure! And oh man I love E-HEROs. I have like 14 different decks of them all with a different strategy. The most important one though with all of them is hand advantage. You gotta make sure to keep your hand full. The first thing to do is run Shadow Mist, Blazeman and Poly all at 3, since Blazeman and Shadow can be searched by both E - Emergency Call and Reinforcement of The Army.

Next you wanna figure out which other HEROs to include in your deck. One of the best strategies I've found is to use all the Water E-HEROs and use Salvage to return 2 with 1500 or less ATK to your hand. This is awesome since Absolute Zero is the best E-HERO Fusion Monster with it's nuke effect. You have Bubbleman, Ice Edge and Ocean. All 3 E-HEROs with 1500 or less ATK, plus Ice Edge has a pretty sweet effect to use on your first turn or if you want a card in the graveyard. On to the next point.

There's Destiny HERO Malicious which can banish itself from the graveyard to summon another from the deck. Note that since Absolute Zero is unique in the fact that it requires any HERO as opposed to E-s specifically, Malicious will work great since it's not Elemental. Then you have Fluffal Cat. When this card is used as a Fusion Material, you get to recover a Poly from the graveyard. Combo this with Shadow Mist to summon Gaia and you get a sweet 2/3 materials back, seemingly making the Fusion costless. Another card you wanna run at 2 is Fusion Recovery; this card is absolutely beautiful.

There's also supply which returns 2 Fusion Materials from the graveyard to your hand which is again contributing to hand advantage. And then we come to Nova Master. I absolutely love this guy. Destroy a monster by battle and you get to draw a card, meaning if you can protect him with Safe Zone, you can ensure wrecking your opponent with hand advantage. If you want you can also use De-Fusion on a monster that you used Shadow Mist and/or Blazeman for; you'll get a Poly again, plus when Shadow is destroyed that's another HERO. Besides if your Fusion was in danger, it was probably a good way to protect your life points.

Ok, my main question is: how can you NOT add those Bottomless and Evac to your deck? Those are pure gold. Add them. Add the Mirror Force too, it's a life saver.

Next we have Parallel World Fusion. I personally hate this card. At first glance it looks like a sweet deal since it means that you can run Miracle Fusion at ease, until you realize that Beastkings can't actually be used while they can be used for Miracle. Not only that but you can't special summon other monsters the turn you activate this card. Get rid.

Next we have A Hero Lives. It's all about knowing when to use it. Don't be like those dumbasses that use it on the first turn and chalk up 4000 life points. Think about it like this: As long as this card is in your hand, you'll be talking half damage. Naturally you'd wanna use it when your life points are down.

Hero Counterattack isn't really reliable. Get rid. Magnum Shield is awesome but I stopped using it a long time ago. Would not recommend. I recommend getting rid of Hero Mask. Also add the E - Emergency Call, pretty good card. Add the Shadow Mist and remove the Homunclulus.

These fixes should straighten out the deck and make it more consistent.

Well if you're adding blazeman then also getting Nova Master is a must. I'd recommend switching it out with any of the classic HERO fusions (Necroid Shaman I'm looking at you >.>)

Now to see what to switch for Blazeman. I'd say either 1 Wildheart or the Woodsman.

Also here's a little interesting fact: Did you know that Rampart Blaster can only attack directly while in defense position if your opponent has no monsters, but in the OCG he can attack regardless? In other words in the OCG Rampart Blaster is actually not that bad. Sucks that the TCG decided to make Rampart like that.

In that case you're lucky as **** . Also no, fusion substitute monsters cant substitute attribute, nor archetype. If it says "Archetype + Attribute", Beastking can be none. Since it's Water, the only thing it can used for is Absolute Zero.

For this exact reason, you're also lucky that in the TCG, you can use Beastking for Rainbow Neos. In the OCG, instead of it being "Elemental HERO Neos + Rainbow Dragon or Rainbow Dark Dragon", it's a little different. In the OCG the Dragons have the exact name except with "Gem God -" before them, so it says "Elemental HERO Neos + Gem God monster", so Beastking can't be used. Consider yourself reeking the benefits of both the TCG and OCG since you got the TCG version of Rainbow Neos and OCG version of Rampart Blaster.

Agreed. Season 4 was also a bit short (mostly because of all the time wasted on Trueman only to have him disappear without an explanation). The season was basically: acquire Honest, use it on Trueman and have him disappear, then don't use it on final duel.
