It was, but Akira was wanting to make it longer. Like DBZ. But Funimation (Bastards that they are) decided to shorten and change it dramatically.

Gohan's voice in Kai really killed it for me.

Here's how you handle this.

#1: Ask them why rape jokes are off limits. The answer to this question will be something along the lines of how it is misogynist, or that rape jokes trivialize rape as an injustice and atrocity.

#2: Express how jokes are nothing more than words bundled together to elicit a humorous response that take nothing from anything. There is a difference between trivialization and humor. Hence why the appearance of "Rape Man" is funny, because something as horrible and painful as rape being used as a theme for a super hero, the same effect would be to a character named "Genocide Man." Nobody thinks less of rape as a result from the joke. I'm not quite sure how they will respond to that. Probably not well. They'll probably say that rape jokes can trigger a PTSD flashback to a sexually abused person. In which case:

#3: State that anything can cause a PTSD flashback depending on the person suffering. If something as simple as the word "rape" is a trigger, then perhaps a social networking site where anything is up for discussion is not a good place for people with specific triggers. Do we have to blame Steven Spielberg for WW2 veterans having PTSD flashbacks during Saving Private Ryan?

If all else fails, they probably don't really understand what they are preaching.

#4: Explain that there are rape victims that use rape jokes as a means of coping. It's not uncommon, people use humor to cope with tragedy all the time. I've heard a woman who was raped tell a rape joke, and use the word "rape" casually.
