That's the only problem I have with BoS.

Their borderline Nazi ideology of basically Aryan only.

If they were a bit more relaxed, and only went after Super Mutants and Feral Ghouls, I'd be okay.

That picture of the Statue of Liberty should not be giving me a chub.

But it is, and now I want porn of it.

You're saying Liberty Prime doesn't make you want to paint your dick red, white and blue and fuck the Statue of Liberty?

I mean, yeah, I get what your saying, but if anything should stir up Patriotism, it should be the giant fucking robot talking about repelling Red Chinese invaders and how it must fight for Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

If the BoS wasn't so for genocide, I'd be much more cool with them. I just like what the Minutemen stand for, personally.

Anyway. GG no Re. Haven't debated in a long while. I'm super rusty.

I'd fuck the Statue of Liberty anyway.

Gotta remember that The BoS can just clear ruins with little to no problem compared to the minuteman (mainly because of PA.), also the guerilla tactics count on having numerous places to hide which mostly have been filled by other people or dangerous wildlife that will eat up the minutemen sadly, they also wouldn't displace others or put them in harms way if possible, which makes them the true good guys of the wasteland.

On the note of Liberty Prime, I managed to screenshot this.

Yeah, that's X-01 Power Armor, too. This is the ending with the Brotherhood, BTW, this isn't a spoiler though, this is just Liberty Prime picking up a fucking Behemoth and casually fucking it's shit up.

Also, how tall is Liberty Prime compared to a Jaegar, I wonder.

You say Guerrilla tactics work, but look at the Railroad.

That's what the Railroad uses, and SPOILERS FOR BROTHERHOOD STORYLINE The Brotherhood fucking squashes the Railroad . I see what you say, but at the same time, the Brotherhood has proven to be one hell of a military force, and even though the Minutemen are perfectly suited to infiltrate the Institute, because Guerrilla tactics are perfect for that sort of thing, when it comes to actually fighting them, the Brotherhood simply out-strongs all competition.

If the Brotherhood and the Minutemen were to fight, all I can say is that they better hope Liberty Prime isn't online, because we both know

DEMOCRACY IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.

I do love me some Primed Liberty if I'm being honest.

It's just something about the Minutemen that stirs latent Patriotism in me. That and I'm a fan of Captain America and freedoms. Maybe that's why I'm so defensive.

And ya gotta think. Brotherhood story spoilers: If the Sole Survivor didn't know where the Railroads base was, they'd continue operating and the BoS would have most likely never found their base. Side note, the RR had noble intentions. But they're too liberal for me.

That's the fucked up part though, the brotherhood has willpower and ingenuity as well(maybe more seeing as they still fucking exist without your character helping them). Plus the brotherhood has volunteers as well, probably more seeing as joining the brotherhood guarantees safety and power armor, while joining the minutemen only guarantees bitching hats.

Yeah but the mindset of the BoS is relatively narrow. You can even listen to holotapes from recruits and vets alike voicing their doubts.

An underdog is nice to root for in fiction, but in a real-life situation, Social Darwinism is a thing.

Only the strong can survive, and the Brotherhood would thrive.

Look at it this way.

Sure, the Minutemen have endless willpower, but their resources and numbers are lacking, plus, you're underestimating the Rebellion a lot, Luke, a trained fucking Jedi, Han Solo, a galaxy-class smuggler, and Princess fucking Leia, no need to elaborate there.

You're right, the Rebellion is small, but that's basically Dynasty Warriors. The Storm Troopers kept throwing scrubs at top-tier fighters.

Whereas in the case of Fallout, other than the Sole Survivor, the Minutemen have no formal training, no formal rank, no formal fucking leadership, since you become a General literally after the second mission.

The Brotherhood wins, my friend.

#35 - roytmustang (11/27/2015) [-]
I see your point.
Although Stormtroopers were never as shitty as they made them out to be in the movies.

But even with no formal training, you must consider a lot of the Minutemen have been fighting for survival their entire lives. Granted, so have a lot of the Brotherhood. And they stack that with actual training.

There's no saying the Minutemen can't progress though. (Hopefully that can expand in future DLC.) After all, the Sole Survivor has that training and knowledge of how to make things work. It can work out in the long run. Especially in the wasteland where their main goal of helping people isn't going to be completed in the near future by any means.

However. Guerilla tactics have proven most effective against powers like the BoS. If the two were ever to go head to head, that'd be the only real guarantee of winning. Example; The real Minutemen. Irregulars and regulars alike. (Not saying they were perfect, but you can see my point.)
Actual plot spoiler for the MM;
Guerilla tactics is basically how the Minutemen snuck into the Institute. That and genuine luck plus plot twists. What they did is a prime example that even the small can strike large blows.

Brotherhood vs Minutemen would work the BoS' own downfall.
You can't kill that many volunteers and good people without having everyone else turn on you. That is if they ever fought against each other.

BoS has firepower.
Minutemen have willpower and human ingenuity.

It's kinda like Star Wars. Rebellion vs Empire. Rebellion was a patchwork band of soldiers. Empire had the friggin' Deathstar and ridiculously well trained soldiers and superior numbers. Rebellion won out.

It'll always happen.
