butt, missoula, and bozeman (boozeman) are all college towns.

im currently going to college in missoula (computer science) and as long as you stay away from the frat houses and shit... people are actually really nice and cool.

billings in a wasteland.... same with havare and great falls.

missoula is a great town however... idk how anyone could hate missoula... unless you dont like pot. lots of dope in zoo town.

The lawyers sued otch, not the devs. The devs then put an item on Skyrim (they were working on it at the time) called 'Notch's Pickaxe', as a nod to him.

I was actually pretty surprised at how much I hated nearly every city. If I'm not mistaken, Butte was the town full of annoying college kids (May have been Missoula/Mizzoula) but anyways we were in Thompson Falls

IKR. That's a shitty practice by Bethesda, just like their lawyers (not the devs) suing Notch for the use of the word 'Scroll' in one of his upcoming game.

Bethesda owns the word 'Scroll' for use in a game title.

I don't understand what that value is, to stay with it. And most religions, what I understand is they require many parts of the beliefs included in the religion to work in order for other parts to hold their meaning.
For example, if a prophet were found with a tablet in their discovered grave with a journal saying that they were a liar and were just trollin etc, wouldn't it be rational to diminish the aspects of the other beliefs that were dependent on that prophet alone down to only what could make sense?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallout_Online

Interplay was trying to make this game, but then Bethesda was all "Lolnope" and sued Interplay. Bethesda won, got the rights to Fallout from Interplay and shut the game down. It didn't get too far in development because Interplay had to use their budget for court battles and legal fees. Then Bethesda starts to work on TESO, becasue it's the only series they have besides Fallout that makes them any money.

TL;DR - Bethesda killed Fallout Online and made Elder Scrolls Online in it's place.
User avatar #155 - roflsaucer (04/12/2013) [-]
Realistically, I don't think Fallout: Online would work out very well. Making Fallout an MMO would veritably destroy what makes the series so great. There's all kinds of transition issues that go with making a game like Fallout into a multiplayer game, even more so on the scale of an MMO. The Elder Scrolls has many more MMO aspects and would transition MUCH more smoothly into an MMO than Fallout:Online ever would.

tl;dr It was a smart business decision on Bethesda's part, and Fallout:Online would destroy everything you like about the series.

That's terrible; I thought that it would have been some game that died long ago. Fallout online would have been way awesome.

I don't quite understand.
By definition that would be delusional, if you're saying that it's silly to give belief against evidence, would it not?
#197 - rotinaj (04/12/2013) [-]
What I'm trying to say is that religion and parts of science can't mix. If a person truly believes in God (or Zeus, or whatever they want to) they shouldn't want to change when given a different, better explanation for how the universe came about. I'm not saying that evolution or the big bang are irrational, because they make perfect sense to any person who can comprehend it. I know for sure that there's more than enough evidence to make any person believe it (Cosmic Background Radiation, astronomical features moving apart etc). But I personally wouldn't forsake my faith because a more logically sound idea (pretty much fact, now) is thrown into the equation. Part of being in a religion is staying with it, on almost blind faith, no matter what.

TL;DR : If a person gives up on their religion because it can't be tested and proven, they weren't ever truly "saved".
Just a note, I'm not trying to throw my religious status around, I'm merely using my own life as an example.
