Not really six - seven vendors sell fusion cores so with enough money and good barter perks you can buy them for about 139 caps each. So ten will cost about 1400 caps, given I have 300 water on three different settlements I can sell a fuck ton of purified water and as a result gorge myself on fusion cores and ammo. I am a level 100 now so everything is cheap as fuck.

What a fucking cry baby. Was the BOS not a rebellious group that broke away from the original Enclave because of how the Enclave were treating people/ evil schemes and that. They then settled in the west and later the mid west and east, Elder maxson I know is the decedent of the original leader of the BOS.

Pretty much what i said but you added a bit more to it. I think the Enclave were responcible for the FEV experiments or at the very least the goverment that formed the Enclave were. Which in a way makes it so the Enclave are the reason the BOS exist.

Was it the Enclave? I'm pretty sure it was just part of the pre-war military. They weren't a specific branch themselves, and they did bale because they were tired of being ordered to make people "not the happies", but the Enclave didn't really show up until after that, I think.

The Enclave as my friend Oxido said above, were created before the war encase of nuclear war. It is why the soldiers are so well trained and have access to oil rigs and other powerful tech.

The Enclave were working on the FEV Virus when the bombs went off. I think the BOS got wind of that they abdicated from the USA Army going rouge and forming the brother hood of steel and dedicating their cause to preventing the misuse of technology like the FEV virus and the synths which came into play later on. The BOS mission is to preserve and protect technology from being miss used which is why they are so hesitant about new technology which is where Elder Elijah differed with the BOS as he wanted to study new technology.

Haven't they been consistently shat on though? They were remnants in NV, asploded twice in FO3, and in an earlier FO, asploded again. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

What Elder lyons said in fallout 3 that it was not the last of the Enclave. And that give ten or twenty years they would most likely return. So what he was infering was that the Enclave are most likely all across America and despite some crippling blows they are no where near defeated.



And the remnants were the oil rig based Enclave that were wiped out thus the advanced power armor mark 1 model they used. To my knowledge there are three version of the enclave power armor. Mark 1, what they used in fallout 1,2 and new Vegas, mark 2 used in fallout 3 and mark 3 (could be one given it was before the great war it was created.) which is the X01. I think the Enclave are far larger than we think. And I would not be suprised if they came back in full force to either fight the institute, railroad or BOS depending who you join.



All I know is that if I get the chance I am joining them, and hopefully they will make it DLC which means new power armor types, Tesla armor will be fucking awesome in the power frames.

Well, technically, Tesla already exists in FO4, but I see your point. I liked the Hellfire armor, personally.

I really hope the DLCs are more FO3 flavored than NV flavored. The NV ones had great story, but the only one I really liked all that much was OWB. The rest were "Hey, wander around some more desert. Also this desert has nukes everywhere."

I like dead money. But yeah New vegas was too much giant desert with a few tiny settlements. Hell not even the strip itself felt large it felt like some dude had modded a few cassino's in.

I would like to be able to make a settlement but with soldiers rather than annoying ass self entitled settlers. Maybe a army base. And actually be able to have real security like sentry bots and the likes.


I loved hell fire but I also loved the veteran riot armor in new vegas. What I want is a barret 40 cal sniper rifle that actually looks like one.

Most of all though I want more missions with the BOS/ Enclave.
