I just looked it up. It almost destroys the entire shipping to doctor whooves and derpy. I will most likely avoid it. Not only is it completely the opposite of who the doctor is. Its ruins one of the most biggest thing that I love about Bronies.

The Jewish Sabbath is and always has been Saturday. Christianity's Sabbath is Sunday, and Christianity did not exist until after Jesus' resurrection.

To be technical, the way we think about days of the week, the Jewish Sabbath is from sundown Friday until sundown Saturday.

Jews don't believe in Jesus as being anything more than a slightly crazy rabbi, it's Christians who think he was the son of God, died, and got resurrected.

Do you not understand the human condition, are ye daft or are ya just blind to the truth? In this order, heed my warning.
1) Cthulu is an Eldritch terror, meaning that he is beyond time and cannot age, only those that know of him age and with away. Cthulu does not need a gender and would probably not be associated with the titles as He or She.
2) No one knows what happens when you are taken because he knows how to do his job, to instill fear in the hearts of those he stalks. Secondly, this can all be a hoax, but there is proof given to the contrary. He may not be the only Slenderman, it'd be foolish to think otherwise, like all myths there is always the spreading of legend.
3) He may not even be called Slenderman, he may be called many different names in his life time and he may not cling to anything he holds dear like a title given to him by his prey. We need to title him to give a name to an otherwise unnamed horror. True he may be intangible to our minds, but that does not mean we aren't his prey because we wish to understand him. Rather it is because we would have to apply conventional knowledge and logic to an unconventional creature.

No, that would be a hypothesis, an educated guess. Let's say that Vampires, Werewolves and every other folklore of the world has touched a few people to become legends. They may be ageless, they may be more powerful than we may ever hope to be but they all have one thing in common. They are scary because they are unknown. Men, especially educated men, fear what they do not know or cannot explain. If something comes off as unexplained they try to label it, to give it a name and make it more tangible than it is.

The witch hunts were because men were afraid of the unknown. Ignorance is what led to many deaths, which is ultimately what creatures looking in on the human race would like to see. We are a people that only needs one excuse to resort to violence.

Because of this, it isn't so much the idea of the creature in the night coming real. It's because the more fear we give it, the more it becomes real and thus it continues to be a mystery. Until we can label it, capture it, and experiment on it, we will not be satisfied with anything logical being stuck to it.
User avatar #107 - riddlerenigma (07/25/2012) [-]
You really aren't getting the idea here are you?
If what you are saying is true (which I do know it is). I have every right to be even less afraid of The Slenderman because I know who it is and what it dose.
True man fear the unknown. Why do you think people are so scared of Cthuhlu? Because no one fully understand who he/she is. But with The Slenderman its almost the opposite. The only thing we don't know about is what what is does when it takes you. Apart from that when know all we need to know about it.

So there for I'm not scared of it.
