Anyone who hates on Georgia simply hates on Georgia for it being in the south. I have lived in Georgia for most of my life and it is an amazing state. There are a few select areas where it gets slightly hick (near Alabama and as you get closer to Florida), but the majority of the state is an amazing place to live, especially the metro areas. Georgia is, by far, the least racist southern state.

Ah, Texas. I love our states laws on guns. 18 or older to buy a rifle/shotgun, 21 or older for a handgun, no guns for felons until five year after they get out of prison. Though, we don't have open carry unless you're on your property, hunting, or at a gun related event. Soon enough, anyone with a concealed carry will be able to open carry, though.
