I love how you're crafting strawmen out of my arguments, just so you have something to argue against. Honestly, if you feel that there are now clear discriminations shown, against men, in the western world, then we are in agreement. Also, if you wish to not be generalized, why not be an "equal rights advocate" or "gender equality advocate" and not a "feminist"? If you add yourself to a specific group, then of course you are going to get generalized with that group, it would be ridiculous to think otherwise.

The point of being a feminist is to be an advocate for equal rights. The problem is that putting ethical theories into practice isn't that easy. So for example, some feminists think porn is wrong and some think it's okay. Does that mean some people should ditch the title of "feminist"? No! Feminists have always sought to advocate equal gender rights. Just because some of them fucked up, that doesn't mean I'm going to saying "I'm not a feminist, I'm a gender equality activist." It's just a term that means the same as the terms you provided.
