If this bullshit is in place, it's because of apathy.
We could've stopped this, and now it's too late. Maybe i do need to chill though. After all, if the world's doomed, why worry?

As far as I know, there are two things vikings invented.
Magnetic compass (chinese also developed it independently) and glasses. Though glasses were worn as decoration, not for correcting eyesight. They also had most advanced sword forging techniques in Europe in the early middle ages.
Oh, and modern style comb. With thicker and thinner "teeth". Historically norse were extremely fussy about their appearance. Their beards and hair were kept very clean and braided. Viking men spent more time on how they looked than viking women, looks were extremely important.
They also didn't raid for "glory and supremacy" or whatever shit neo nazis spew, they raided because their land is bad for farming, frozen most of the year and they were very very poor. They raided to steal grains and pigs and things they can trade for food.

Religion, like every cultural thing, can be a source of good and evil. I mean look at southern churches. If you are hungry you can walk into any of them, tell them you are hungry and offer to do some work in exchange for a meal and I have never heard of a man being turned away. On the other hand people from those same generous and kind churches will demand that people who have different sexual prefrences not have same rights.
I think religions should bring people together. Give them cultural rules and customs that make us one group across the lines of nations and see each other as people and brothers, not as "other, different ones". And best religions try just that.

Yeah, a thing people tend to forget is that Jesus dined with sinners. I shit you not, it Luke 7:36 or Matthew 9:9-11, go read it up. But aside from that, you're right, people tend to hack away with anything cultural as long as it satisfies their own beliefs. The thing i don't get is how people get those beliefs in the first place. Where it's the place where people learn to hate and despise? Do you believe that those people can be saved, or they're damaged beyond repair? That's why, even if white nationalist and SJW are wholly stupid, i can't help but feel bad, because they're human like you and me, but had either a shitty life, or a lifetime of indoctrination that ruined them and damaged them beyond repair, and we can't help them because they're too stubborn.
One can say they're born into it, but that's a thing for the life of me i can't just accept, that humans are born inherently evil. Surely there must be another way out.

Just that you mentioned asatru (nordic paganism) and then associated it with Vikings pillaging and killing. Its like mentioning christianity and then immidately mentioning crusade or witch hunts.
I actually agree with most points you made. White supremacy like all such philosophies is simply rooted in "I am poor, doing nothing in my life and without any personal successes, but I need a reason to feel superior to others." And passionately disliking it is a positive thing.

Thanks, in future i'll be more careful with that. To my knowledge the Vikings really didn't invent anything though, but i'd like you to shed some light on it (and Norse Paganism in General), since i think you'd be more knowledgeable on the subject. After all, this isn't why the Internet was made? The exchange of information and ideas through minds. Personally, I think Religion creates a better sense of community than race or nationalism - because if preached well it can be totally harmless (and people of different religions can cooperate between eachother), and people from the same religion are more likely to form a bond, rather than two atheists or two whites or two Germans or whatever.

"It's two sides of the same coin"
a thousand times yes
Bravo man, there's a name for it: horseshoe theory and the only proof you need is to go to the subreddit stormfront or SJW and guess which ones which only to find that there is no difference, the only difference is in the buzz words they use.
