as much as i hate lori. it would have actually been more beneficial to the group if she had survived and not the baby. the baby will be nothing but a hindrance to the group; it will make noise, and take resources, they will have to risk going and getting formula and diapers and it will give nothing in return, except maybe a morale boost for the group. so in my opinion she should have lived/

As much as I didn't hate Lori (I think some parts she is misunderstood), I still gotta go with the baby. Especially if you're thinking long term, which they were, having perviously secured the prison, Lori is going to be old and decrepate in a few decades, plus she wasn't made to surive in that world. That kid is gonna be a liability at first, but once she gets older she is going to become a great assest, especially considering she would have been raised in that world.

i know that it is important to repopulate. but in the situation they were in lori would be more useful. she still would have been fertile for at least another 15 years so they would have had other chances

if it was they both die or the baby lives of course i'd choose the baby. but i think she could have survived

I don't know, child birth in the wild is dangerous enough without complications, and you also have to consider the fact that if the baby dies during the process, it could re-animate and kill Lori anyway, and maybe carl and Maggy, who I got to say is insanely hot.

maggie is fine. what i don't get is, if they're all infected cause they reanimate when they die even if they're not bitten that would mean that the infection is in their blood. how come the baby wasn't infected through vertical transmission. should have been born a zombie

My theory is that there is two different strands, or maybe even two different diseases one of wish isn't present in the humans, but the strand that the zombies do have would cause the intense fever that kills you along side with reanimation, while the airborne strand only causes reanimation.

i'd have thought that when you get bitten it simply amplifies the infection which would cause it to take over your body faster than your antibodies can combat it
