I think it's because 9+ people live within the confined space of the fence and so you just need your key, not 9 copies, or not bother your 8 neighbors to come and open the gate with you

Is it really that hard to get copies of a key? I feel like this is one of those situations when a lazy person wanted to get around completing a menial task, and then put way more effort they'd ever have put into the original task, trying to solve it.

If you're in a Western democracy they already do, you fucking idiot.
User avatar
#26 - platinumaltaria (11/24/2015) [-]
That would be great but women are in much better standing in the western world. In fact, women have more rights than men in almost every regard; shorter sentences, better work prospects, higher proportions in education, fewer below the poverty line. Being female is a strategic advantage.

User avatar
#36 - gabemczombie (11/24/2015) [-]
Most of the healthcare in the western world is adapted to men When it comes to unisex diseases. , there's the biological advantages Greater muscle growth, lack of periods, lack of childbirth . I think i could name a few more if i wasn't a man myself, since i have hard time seeing perks that i'm used to. Not using that "OH I'VE BEEN BLINDED BY THE LIGHT OF MY OWN PRIVILEGE, SAVE ME LOOOOORD" but it's stuff i'm used to, can't name it all. I live in sweden too... Equaaaality.
User avatar
#38 - platinumaltaria (11/24/2015) [-]
What do you mean adapted to men? Is not breast cancer the prime recipient of cancer funding?
Men did not decide this. Men also have shorter lifespans, vulnerable areas, are completely without control of their offspring, whilst women boast increased alchohol resistance.
Oh, male feminist levels of self-hate I see. You aren't privileged because you have a dick yanow.

Equality does not mean focusing on solely women. Equality does not mean giving women and minority races a boost in education or work.
User avatar
#39 - gabemczombie (11/24/2015) [-]
Note the Unisex part of "Adapted to men".

Men may have shorter lifespans due to the way our body works. I'm not a biologist, i don't really know if that's the case or if it's because we choose more dangerous jobs.
"Vulnerable areas" Tits and pussy are still vulnerable to attack. Unless you mean something else.
"Are completely without control of their offspring" Exaggeration, but i do agree that there's a huge problem when it comes to divorce settlements and custody settlements.
"Women boast increased alchohol resistance" Maybe on average. I'd wager that i, a man over 190cm, weighing around 85 kilos, would outdrink a girl my age with my experience in drinking.

I don't hate myself for being a man, i don't someone for their gender. I'm just arguing with you that men aren't as opressed as you claim that they are.

Equality means focusing to make men and women equal in all aspects. Giving women and other ethnic minorities a boost in education or work is a misguided attempt at equality. It's not "Reverse sexism/racism" as some call it, it's just sexism/racism.
User avatar
#40 - platinumaltaria (11/24/2015) [-]
What do you mean by that? You mean that men are seen as the default? It makes sense, in western cultures women are far more liberated from their ancient norms than men.

Nope, we're actually designed to be weaker. Why that is may have something to do with the fact that men decay rapidly in old age; a 50 year old man is far stronger than an 80 year old man, in comparison to a 50 and 80 year old woman.

Vulnerable, but not the font of reproduction, and certainly not an acceptable target for slapstick comedy.

Huge doesn't cover it. Men have zero right to their children, in fact they have no ownership of their sperm, and must pay child support even if a woman forcibly extracts it and inseminates herself.

"On average" applies to all statistics... but a female liver is much better at filtering poisons than a male's.

Men are treated as second class citizens to a degree, in fact men being raped by women, mascaraeding as sexual liberty for women, is common in so called "chick flicks".

Humans were not made equal. Society should both recognise these differences and attempt to level the playing field as much as possible. Women are the sole possessors of reproductive rights the world over. Boys still have their genitals mutilated in openly discussed surgeries.
User avatar
#41 - gabemczombie (11/24/2015) [-]
THe question is, what do you mean by that? I mean that the male body is seen as the default in healthcare. What i don't understand is how norms have anything to do with it.

Would a 50 year old man defeat a 50 year old woman with the same background in life?

Are you seriously offended by slapstick comedy?

In certain countries in the middle east, a male child at 12 has more legal rights than their parents. I don't know about the laws in i'm assuming the US. In sweden, however, it's based on custody. You live 60% at one parent and the 40% parent pays child support.

Men are treated as second class citizens to a degree. Women are also treated as second class citizens to a degree. Women are percieved as weak, hence they get unfair advantages such as getting to punch their spouses and calling it a "Joke". THe sexism that works in their benefit has it's roots in sexism that works against them.

I agree about the purpose of equality. I do not agree with what you saying "Women are the sole possessors of reproductive rights the world over. What are you high? Abortion is illegal in, i'd wager, the entirety of the middle east, large parts of south america, and large parts of asia. Don't even get me started on Africa. According to the Quran, that a lot of countries follow in the middle east, women cannot be raped in a marriage. Thus they can be raped and forced to have a child. Thus they lack the right to reproduction.

You're using the same kind of logic that radical feminits use by making the world appear to be like you're view of it is.
User avatar
#42 - platinumaltaria (11/24/2015) [-]
Women can wear men's clothes, yes. But a man can't wear a dress (generally speaking). So, when people design unisex clothes, they are in male design. Same goes for anything else.

What, in hand to hand combat? Probably.

I'm concerned that people think it's ok to target men's reproductive organs.

Nope, the UK. That system doesn't take into account how some parents may be harmful to their children.

Women are perceived as weak primarily by feminists, no one I've ever met has had that opinion. Women do not get a free pass on abuse.

I never said they had reproductive rights everywhere, but men don't have them anywhere.

No, I'm describing the world the way it is, and that happens to conflict with your personal view.
User avatar
#43 - gabemczombie (11/24/2015) [-]
I'm talking about health care, not clothes. Male design are different from female, just look at jeans.

Then how are they "weaker"?

If your aim is to make a man feel pain then... Well.

Not a single system seems to do so. We all suffer from the victim stereotype that women have.

Agreed.

Men have them in the places where women don't.

Is your personal view not the one you are describing?
User avatar
#44 - platinumaltaria (11/24/2015) [-]
You mean the genders have different fashions? Shocking. I don't get what in medicine would be unisex.

I mean relative to their 80 year old counterparts. Men age slower into their late 50s, then rapidly. Women age rapidly in their 50s, then slowly.

If your aim is to make them feel pain then do it without also making them infertile, ok?

No we don't, because no one thinks of women as weak except for sexists.

Do they? I'm pretty sure penis cutting is a worldwide sport!

Of course.

#45 - gabemczombie (11/24/2015) [-]
Nevermind it.

Really? That's fascinating. Wouldn't that level out in then end?

Balls can take a beating. They're fragile, but not that fragile. Besides, there are better places than the balls.

Sexists still exist, see the former generations, and the perception that women are weak endures for now.

Like the gender mutilation of women that occurs in parts of africa and the middle east?

We're not getting anywhere. I agree to disagree.
User avatar
#46 - platinumaltaria (11/24/2015) [-]
Yeah, it's only periodic, and each have there merits.

Fucking you can have your balls beaten man, I'm already down one.

assuming youre american

women have been legally equal since 1967

single women under thirty have made more than men since the late 70s

women have been the highest single demographic in colleges besides human since the 90s

women have enjoyed the highest hiring rate in advanced stem fields, getting the job at twice the rate at which women apply for said job when compared to men

now college campuses are passing affirmative consent laws, which promote female hypoagency and infantilization (because we always believe what cute little kids, and now women, say)

my problem with this isn't the assertion that women should have equal rights, by all means they should, my problem with this is that they're making the claim that the only people that society takes seriously are white and male. Honestly you'd have to be living under a rock if you thought women aren't taken seriously in the U.S. usually either the ideas are stupid or the assertions they make are based on outdated, flawed or outright falsified data.
